This article is going to show you how to capture video from DV camcorder and convert captured DV video to iPod using DV to iPod Converter.
Let's take a look at how it performs:
Step 1. Download the latest version of DV to iPod Converter. Install and run it.
Step 2. Click the "File" menu item. In the drop-down list, click "Capture Video from DV..." to start capturing videos from your DV.
Note: Make sure your DV camcorder is connected to your PC. Otherwise, there will be a pop-up dialog of "DV camcorder not connected". Besides, you need to check that your DV camcorder is powered on and set to VCR mode. An IEEE 1394 Firewire Card is required to connect your DV camcorder with your PC to capture video.
Step 3. In the pop-up dialog of "Capture Video From DV", you can preview the video and trim the video (click the "Start Capture" and "Stop Capture" buttons). Click "OK" and video will be captured.
Step 4. Back to DV to iPod Converter, you will find the video you captured just now. From the "Profile" drop-down list, choose "iPod MPEG-4" as the output format.
