iDVD is a free DVD creator on Mac OS X, introduced by Apple Inc. iDVD allows the user to add QuickTime Movies, MP3 music, and digital photos to a DVD that can then be played on a commercial DVD player.
However, iDVD cannot support AVCHD camcorder video, like MTS and M2TS. So if you have a AVCHD camcorder and you want to save the happy memories on a DVD disc for playback , first you should convert MTS/M2TS files to iDVD support format MOV, MPEG-4, H.264, DV, MPEG, M4V, 3GP, then burn MTS/M2TS files to DVD on Mac.
